Kei Kamara had his sixth goal of the 2010 Major League Soccer season in the ninth minute and Graham Zusi scored his first goal in the 35th minute as the host Kansas City Wizards shut out the Philadelphia Union 2-0 Thursday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
The Wizards are now 3-5-3 with 12 points and are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They will host the New York Red Bulls when MLS returns from a two-week break for World Cup play June 26.
The Union becomes the worst team in the league this season at 2-7-1 with one point in the Eastern Conference standings. They will host the Seattle Sounders June 27.
