The Vancouver Whitecaps of the United Soccer Leagues First Division announced Tuesday assistant coach Todd Wawrousek’s contract with the team has expired and he will not be retained for the team’s 2010 season.

Before coming to Vancouver, he served as head coach of the women’s soccer team at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania from 1990 to 2006 and was assistant coach of the now-defunct USL W-League’s Hershey Wildcats from 1997 to 2001.
