Travis McKenzie had a pair of two-point goals and an assist and Joe Hammes scored a game-winning three-point play in the third quarter as the Milwaukee Wave regained the lead in the Major Indoor Soccer League standings after edging the Philadelphia Kixx 15-10 Sunday at US Cellular Arena.

Nine Wave players contributed to the cause, improving their record to 9-6 and putting them a half-game ahead of La Raza de Monterrey (9-7), who is off this coming weekend.

Aduato Neto led the Kixx, who had their two-game winning streak snapped with the loss, with two two-point goals.

Philadelphia (5-7, three games behind Milwaukee in fifth place) takes on the Baltimore Blast next Sunday at First Mariner Arena in Baltimore.

Milwaukee travels to the Rockford MetroCentre on that same day to tangle with the Rockford Rampage, now on a five-game losing streak.
