The expansion Ohio Vortex of the Professional Arena Soccer League announced Sunday defender Michael Pertz will join 100 other participants from 18 countries in a tryout this weekend to possibly join the defending United Soccer Leagues Second Division champion Richmond Kickers.
Pertz played collegiately at the University of Akron, Mount Vernon University in Ohio, and California’s Azusa Pacific University.
