The US Women’s National Team remain the number one women’s team in the world after the release Friday of the latest quarterly FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.
The US defeated Germany, who stayed in second in the new poll, 4-0 last weekend in an exhibition game in Cleveland, OH.
Brazil, Sweden and Japan hold on to their positions at third through fifth, respectively.
Norway climbs one spot to sixth, North Korea falls two to seventh, France is unchanged in eighth, England drops one to ninth and China debuts in the top 10, moving up two to tenth.
The next quarterly poll results come out August 13.
