The Portland Timbers of the USSF Division II Pro League announced the addition Tuesday of three new dates to their preseason schedule.

Portland, who won their opener 2-0 Saturday against Oregon State University, next plays Major League Soccer franchises — the Seattle Sounders Thursday at Qwest Field, then the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium at the University of Santa Clara March 20.
The first two of three new dates happen the weekend of March 26-27 when they face fellow USSF D2 Pro member Vancouver Whitecaps, then take on the University of Portland Pilots.
After taking on the Kitsap Pumas of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League April 3 at Bremerton, WA, the Timbers end the preseason April 10 against Seattle University in the last of the new games.
