The NSC Minnesota Stars visited Swangard Stadium Sunday and played to a 1-1 draw with the host Vancouver Whitecaps, leader of the NASL Conference in the USSF Division 2 Pro League.
Simone Bracalello scored for the Stars and team captain Martin Nash did the same for the Whitecaps.
The Whitecaps are 7-3-8 with 29 points and hit the road for two games this week — at the Montreal Impact Wednesday and the Carolina RailHawks Saturday.
The Stars are in fourth place in the USL Conference at 7-9-4 with 25 points and host the Puerto Rico Islanders Wednesday at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon before returning to the States Sunday to play at AC St. Louis.
