The St. Louis Athletica of Women’s Professional Soccer announced the re-signing Tuesday of Brazilian midfielder Daniela and the signings of defender Sarah Wagenfuhr, forward/midfielder India Trotter, forward Kristina Larsen and midfielder Carolyn Blank.

Daniela played only three games with the Athletica before tearing two knee ligaments and cracking her tibia, forcing her to miss the rest of the team’s and league’s inaugural season.
St. Louis now has 26 players on the roster, but must cut two by March 16, then be down to 18 senior and four developmental players by April 1.
The franchise also announced a three-game preseason schedule, beginning Saturday at Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park in Fenton, MO against the University of Illinois, followed by a March 20 date with the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, and ending April 3 in Tulsa, OK against WPS newcomer Atlanta Beat.
