Besides becoming the first expansion team since the 1998 Chicago Fire to make the Major League Soccer playoffs in their debut season, the Seattle Sounders set two records in their home season finale Saturday against FC Dallas at Qwest Field.
The game set a single-season attendance record of 33,108 fans and the team averaged a new league record of 30,943 fans per home game this season.
