In an outdoor “indoor” soccer game held at Furati Stadium in Tijuana, Mexico, the San Diego Sockers improved their Professional Arena Soccer League record to 6-0 Friday with a 5-4 victory over Revolucion Tijuana.

Revolucion Tijuana is a member of Liga Mexicana Futbol Rapido and is playing seven games this season against PASL teams which count in the those team’s records, but not Tijuana’s.

Aaron Susi scored the first and last goals for the Sockers with Dan Antoniuk, Brian O’Connor and league leader Kraig Chiles adding points. Chiles has 14 goals this season.

The Sockers are now off until December 28 when they host their Premier Arena Soccer League sister San Diego Fusion in a US Open Arena Soccer Championship tournament game at Del Mar Arena.

Tijuana’s next game against a PASL team will be February 6 at Stockton Arena against the defending league champion California Cougars.
