Rookie Tommy Oatley from Western Michigan University and who plays outdoors for the Kalamazoo Outrage of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League had five points to lead the Major Indoor Soccer League regular season champion Milwaukee Wave to a 12-10 win over the Philadelphia Kixx in their regular season Saturday at US Cellular Arena, site of the 2010 MISL Championship Game presented by The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel April 4.
The Wave end the regular season with an eight-game winning streak and a 14-6 record. They will now await the winner of next weekend’s two-game, aggregate-goal series between the Baltimore Blast and La Raza de Monterrey to determing their opponent in the title game.
Ptah Myers led the Kixx with six points and they fell to 7-12 on the season, with their season finale coming Sunday against the Blast.
