Andres Bueno scored the game’s only goal unassisted in the 34th minute as the Lancaster Rattlers shut out the host BYU Cougars 1-0 Saturday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at BYU’s South Field in Provo, UT.
The Rattlers are 1-1-3 with six points and in a three-way tie for third in the Western Conference, Southwest Division race with the Orange County Blue Star (1-0-3) and the Southern California Seahorses (2-2-0). They are now off until June 5 when their season resumes at the Hollywood United Hitmen.
BYU is in last place in the division at 0-2-1 with one point and head to the Seahorses this Saturday.
