The Colorado Rapids Wednesday traded defender Ty Harden to Toronto FC in return for Toronto’s natural third round pick in the 2011 Major League Soccer SuperDraft.

Harden returned to professional soccer in 2009 after taking a year off to pursue other endeavors but was traded to the Rapids by the Los Angeles Galaxy in January 2009 for Colorado’s third round pick in that year’s SuperDraft.
He started one of seven games for Colorado last season and had no goals or assists.
