Rangers Force Tie With Ironbound Express In PDL Standings

Dominic Reinold was assisted on both goals Wednesday by Alex Silver (28th minute) and Philip Cinha (31st minute) as the host New Jersey Rangers shut out the Central Jersey Spartans 2-1 Wednesday in USL Premier Development League play at Morris Catholic High School.

The win now ties the Rangers (4-1-0, 12 points) with the undefeated Ironbound Express (4-0-0, 12) for second place in the Eastern Conference, Mid-Atlantic Division, four points behind
division-leading Reading United AC (5-0-1, 16). The Rangers next host the Bermuda Hogges, formerly of the USL Second Division, next Saturday.

Antoine Hoppenot opened the scoring for the Spartans in the 15th minute with their lone goal of the game. Central Jersey, 1-3-1 with four points for fifth place in the division, host the Hampton Roads Piranhas.
