PA Utility Company Close To Naming Rights Deal For New Union Stadium

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Soccer, USA

Pennsylvania Power & Light is merely a signature away from announcing a $20 million deal over the next 10 years to become the corporate sponsor of a new, 18,500-seat, soccer-specific stadium in Chester, PA that will be the home of Major League Soccer’s newest franchise, the Philadelphia Union.

The team will open their debut season in MLS at Lincoln Financial Field, home to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, April 10 against the Seattle Sounders, but will move into their new stadium — to be called PP&L Park — by late June or early July.
