National Soccer Hall Of Fame Shut Down

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Soccer, USA

Though it has been closed to the public since Labor Day 2009, the National Soccer Hall Of Fame And Museum in Oneonta, NY announced Thursday it was officially shutting down due to financial problems, according to the Rochester Business Journal.

The 62-acre site will be transferred to the Otsego County, NY Development Corporation, pending approval from state agencies and the state Supreme Court.

The hall will still hold elections and an induction ceremony for the Class of 2010 later this summer.
