Major League Soccer’s DC United announced Friday goalkeeper Andrew Quinn has been called up in time for Saturday’s home opener against the New England Revolution, as United has less than the league-mandated two healthy goalkeepers on their roster.
Quinn trialed with United in February and started 21 of 25 games in his four seasons at Notre Dame, where he had a 0.99 goals against average and seven shutouts.
