Genoni Martinez’s game-winning three-point goal gave La Raza de Monterrey a 7-6 win over the Baltimore Blast in Major Indoor Soccer League play Sunday.
Hector Vallejo and Mark Ughy scored two-point plays for Monterrey, now 5-5 and tied for third place with the Milwaukee Wave, a half-game behind the co-league leading Blast and the Rockford Rampage. Monterrey will host the Wave next Sunday.
Denison Cabral led the Blast with two two-point goals and Guiliano Celenza added another goal as they fall to 5-4 and tied with Rampage. Baltimore faces the Wave on the road this Saturday.
