The Kitsap Pumas, who played their expansion season in the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League this season, have narrowed their list of candidates to become the team’s new head coach to six, according to Wednesday’s Kitsap Sun.
Tags: blogs, google, blog, Coaching, SoccerThree of the names being considered are current Grenada head coach Tommy Taylor, former head coach of the PDL’s Des Moines Menace Casey Mann, and former Seattle University head coach Peter Fewing.
Taylor brought the Grenada team to the US in July to compete in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Mann, the 2009 PDL Coach of the Year, did not have his contract renewed and led the Menace to the league’s 2005 championship. He has a career record of 48-19-13.
Fewing was with Seattle University from 1998-2006 and led the team to two national titles.
