Mele French scored a ninth-minute goal off a Kelly Parker assist, then assisted Veronica Bouquete on a 31st minute game-winning tally as the host Buffalo Flash got past the Chicago Red Eleven 3-2 in USL W-League play at the Demske Sports Complex Saturday.
Buffalo extended their lead to 2-0 in the 11th minute when Alena Michelle Thom put a Katie Holtham assist in the back of the net, but Chicago rallied with two goals in a five-minute first-half span — a Kara Kabellis penalty kick in the 14th minute and an Ashley Bares 19th minute unassisted play.
The Flash will play their 2010 season home final Wednesday against the Cleveland Internationals, but the Fire end their season by hosting the Internationals this Sunday
