Logan Hoffman, a three-year letterwinner at goalkeeper at Drury University, where he serves as an assistant coach of the men’s and women’s soccer teams, was named Friday the new head coach of the Springfield Demize of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League.

At Drury, the men’s team posted their best finish in school history last season, won their first Great Lakes Valley Conference title, earned a berth in the NCAA Division II tournament and finished in the top 10 of a poll by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Both teams also set new school records for goals against average, save percentage and shutouts and the goalkeepers earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors.
Stephen Conner earned additional All-American honors from Daktronics.
Hoffman also works as the director of coaching for Fair Grove Soccer Academy, is head coach of the U-14 and U-15 boys teams at Nixa Soccer Club and the U-16 girls team at Xtreme Soccer Club for Girls.
