Fire To See Stars June 20 In Blaine, MN

Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire announced Wednesday they will play NSC Minnesota Stars of the USSF Division 2 Pro League in an exhibition game June 20 at the National Soccer Center in Blaine, MN.

It will be the first time the NSC Stars will play against an MLS team on their home pitch.

The Fire previously beat a USSF-D2 team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, in a 4-1 beating this preseason in Phoenix.

The Kansas City Wizards, playing the-then USL First Division’s Minnesota Thunder, was the last MLS team to play at the NSC.
