Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire announced Tuesday head coach Denis Hamlett has been released from his contract, which was to expire at the end of year, effective immediately.
Hamlett will now pursue other coaching opportunities.
He was 24-17-19 in two seasons with the franchise.
