Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron’s bicycle kick to stop a potential goal in their game Sunday against the Los Angeles Galaxy was impressive enough to Major League Soccer fans to have them name him winner Thursday of the league’s Week 31 Save of the Week voting.

Cameron is the first non-goalkeeper to win the weekly voting since Houston defender Wade Barrett teamed with Dynamo goalkeeper Pat Onstad to share the honor after Week 23.
Cameron beat Steve Cronin (DC United), Preston Burpo (Colorado Rapids), Donovan Ricketts (Los Angeles Galaxy), Brian Edwards (Toronto FC) and Andrew Weber (San Jose Earthquakes) in fan voting at www.mlsnet.com.
