The expansion Dayton Dutch Lions of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League announced the signing of forward Geert Den Ouden, who just returned from Malta, where he played for the country’s top league, Valetta.

Before then, he played for four teams in the Dutch Premier League — Excelsior, ADG Den Haag, De Groafschap and Willem II — as well as Djurgardens IF in Sweden.
Den Ouden has scored 108 goals in 317 career matches.
