Crystal Palace Baltimore of the USSF Division II Pro League announced the signings Tuesday of forward Yaikel Perez and midfielder Kenold Versailles.

Perez played in the 2006 United Soccer Leagues First Division with Miami FC Blues, now a fellow USSF D2 member, and led Sevilla Bayamon FC to a 2008 national championship in Puerto Rico.

He also played on Cuba’s national team at the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup in Los Angeles, where he defected.

Versailles spent most of last season injured, but had one goal in eight games for the USSF D2′s Vancouver Whitecaps in USL1.

Before then, he spent six seasons playing professionally in Haiti for Racing Club Haitien (2002-06, won the 2002 championship) and Roulado (2007-08).

He also represented Haiti on the international level at many ages.
