Former Boston College defender Sam Brill signed a one-year contract with an option year Wednesday to play for the Austin Aztex of the USSF Division 2 Pro League.
Brill, who has played the last two seasons professionally in Sweden with Ljungskile SK, also had brief stint in Germnay with FC Sachsen Leipzig and played in Major League Soccer in 2008 for the New England Revolution.
In starting 58 of 63 career games at Boston College, he scored six goals and three assists and was named a Second Team All-Big East Team member as a sophomore.
