It seems that just as one of Barcelona’s chronically injured players is getting back into the game, Real Madrid’s is being given more time on the sidelines.
Ruud Van “Van Gol” Nistelrooy of Real Madrid will be out of action for five to six weeks minimum after he suffered a torn muscle in his right leg during Real Madrid’s blowout against Xerez.
The worst part is, the game against Xerez was the first the striker had played in FIVE MONTHS. He was coming of another injury he sustained last season.
Speedy recovery, Ruud. Even if you do play for Real Madrid.
Extra note: Gabi Milito, the chronically injured Barcelona defender has started practicing with a ball. No word yet on whether he’s practicing with the team.
